How delivery works

4. Return the car in Åsane – or ask us about a different return place.

Bergen Airport Flesland

Flesland is about 18 km south of Bergen city centre and handled 6.55 million passengers in 2024. Getting into town without a car costs time and money: the light rail takes about 45 minutes (around 51 kr), the airport bus about 30 minutes (around 189 kr online), and a taxi 580–890 kr. If you plan to drive anyway, having the car waiting at the airport for 299 kr is often the cheapest and fastest option – especially for two or more people.

Hotels in the city centre

Bryggen, Torgallmenningen and the area around the Fish Market have narrow streets and expensive parking. We bring the car to your hotel on the morning you start driving, so you do not pay for parking on the days you are exploring Bergen on foot.

Cruise passengers

Bergen is Norway’s biggest cruise port, with around 680,000 passengers in 2025. Most ships berth at Skolten or Festningskaien by Bryggen, a short walk from the centre; others use Dokken or Jekteviken. With a few hours ashore you can drive to Voss, Norheimsund or the coast and be back in time. Plan carefully: keep at least an hour of margin before all-aboard time, and remember that rush-hour traffic (14:30–16:30 on weekdays) can be slow.

FAQ

Do I need to be there in person?

Yes. Keys are handed over in person, and the driver who booked must show the driving licence.

What if I am late?

Call or message us. If we have to wait more than 30 minutes, a waiting fee may apply (see the rental terms).

Can I return the car at the airport?

The standard return is in Åsane. Ask us when you book if you need a different return place.
